Pearls of Lutra

Summary: To the far northwest of Mossflower, there is a solitary island by the name of Sampetra. The ruler of this island is Ublaz Mad Eyes, an evil pine martin who commands the lizard-like Monitors and all of his slaves. He wants is the Pearls of Lutra to put on his crown, so first he attacked the otter holt of Lutra, and killed everyone of it's members except one: Grath Longfletch. When Ublaz finds out that the Redwallers have the pearls, he will stop at nothing to get them. So it's up to Grath Longfletch, Martin II(son of Mattimeo), a young squirrel named Arven, a young hedghog maid named Tansy, ad others to stop him. Will the woodlanders stop Ublaz in his tracks, or will Ublaz conquer Mossflower? You must read to find out.

Personal Notes: Amazing character development, wonderful settings, and a great plot! One of my favorites of the series, losing only by a hair to Salamandastron, as my favorite book.
