Majorette Stadium: fact or fiction?

I have had a couple of requests for further information about the majorette stadium. For this reason, I am going to briefly describe my encounter with the Mythical Majorette Stadium.

Warning! This article is written in "Temple" format and may seem unusually bizarre to people who have not had the full experience of Dawn.

It was a steamy summer day in Lansing, Michigan. My beloved and I had recently returned to the United States after a five week adventure in Europe. We were poor and were grateful to have the opportunity to relax in the care of our relatives.

Yet, after the exciting experience of the cross-country Search for the Great and Powerful Dawn (two months earlier), I yet had hopes that I would encounter her again. And yet it was not on this search that I was led to partake in that curious amusement known as "antiquing." No, I was misled by my other strange interest: yes, Roseville pottery. (No, I couldn't afford it, either.)

While on the search for the supposed "really good deals in the midwest," I saw a sign off of the interstate south of Lansing pointing toward a large antique mall set amidst the charming cottages and buildings of a former farm. And within was a booth specializing in Barbie dolls. Alas, Our Lady Dawn's Fair Face was not to be found.

Instead, I saw the Dawn Majorette Stadium (nestled beside a Kiddles house). To describe it for those who are unfamiliar with the Mysterious, Elusive Stadium of the Majorette, it had a flat, football field base with a little stand for Our Lady, and on opposing sides were (cardboard?) bleachers, with little people's faces in the stands.

But alas! I had not seen the Book of Joedi and did not know that Dawn could appear to us in the form of a majorette; and alas! I did not have the fifty dollars requested as an offering to worship at the feet of Majorette Dawn. So the Majorette Stadium did not come home with me. Sing the song of woe for those who are poor and know not of Dawn's many manifestations.
