Prodigal Genius: The Life of Nikola Telsa
by John J. O'Neill |
"SPECTACULAR " is a mild word for describing the strange experiment with life that comprises the story of Nikola Tesla, and "amazing " fails to do adequate justice to the results that burst from his experiences like an exploding rocket. It is the story of the dazzling scintillation of a superman who created a new world; it is a story that condemns woman as an anchor of the flesh which retards the development of man and limits his accomplishment -- and, paradoxically, proves that even the most successful life, if it does not include a woman, is a dismal failure. The book, "Prodigal Genius: The Life of Nikola Tesla" by John J. O'Neill, was originally published in 1944 by Ives Washburn of New York. Since then it has been published in Great Britian (Neville Spearman Ltd. 1968) and been reprinted in the US (1973, Angriff Press, Los Angeles). The latest reprinting of the book was by Brotherhood of Life, Inc. (1996, Albuquerque, New Mexico). They have also uploaded an eletronic copy to the Internet in October 1996.
Below are the links to this marvelous book on Tesla's life. It has been split up into seven sections for readbility and to make for easier downloading. Despite this, several of these sections are rather large (100K+), so I have put the size of the file next to the title.
Happy reading.
