Come Away

"Come Away"
sunlight glinting
off of a head of golden hair,
white dress flutters
in the wind...
faery wings
hum in the heavy air...
child-like voice
sings a faery-tune.
flutter of wings
in the perfumed air
as the child is drawn away
to play...
only to play...
nevermore to hear the sighing of the wind...
nevermore the rising sun...
nevermore the snows in winter...
nevermore...
oh, nevermore...
for she is gone,
been led away,
gone beyond
with the faeries
hand-in-hand to their land...
to their land of nevermore...
