The Faeries Gilded Rhyme

The faeries dance and play
in fields of blue and green.
They think of mirth and life,
of misty vales unseen.

Should mortals wonder there
quietly they hide.
In leaves and needles fair
their time they do abide.

To capture them for fun
and take them to faery home
to spend their life immortal
never far to roam.

And when your time is done
they open doors up wide
and send you unto a time
you were not meant to ride.

Be careful when you hear
the music old in time.
and take a chance perhaps to dream
of the faeries gilded rhyme.
