"Who Quiet Dances"

On winter nights
warm, without snow
when wee folk to
the Faerieland go
and no mushroom rings
do stand aground,
if you listen close
you'll hear the sound
of sighing breezes
lifting up the branches
of light stepped trees
who quiet dances,
their tans and browns
most bleak and stark
absorb the moonlight
within rough bark
and secret stretch
and dance and hop
save when humans glance
they still do stop,
moving but periferally
dance trees so merrily.
