Gandalf
andalf is a wizard of light & fire from Middle Earth.
He is the wisest of all wizards. I believe that this wisdom is what
saved Middle Earth in their most important battle against evil.
He alone saw the signs of what was to come. He
became suspicious of the ring that Bilbo found. He knew it
was a ring of power, but he wasn't sure if it was the ring
of power. So he said nothing until he was sure. By that time
is was almost too late.
Instead of taking the ring and trying to use it against
the enemy, he was wise enough to leave it to the Hobbits . For
the ring curpted all who held it. For it was evil.
From knowing so many people, he learned what is going
on in each area of the country. From this, he found each
peoples strength and weakness, so he was able to advise
with knowledge. He was known by different names in the
different areas. In the Shire he was known by his favorite name:
Gandalf.
ost Hobbits from the Shire were leery of him .
Years before, he had came for a visit and entertained them with
a beautiful fireworks display. So when he came to see Bilbo,
they were unsure. But some remembered tales about his
fireworks. So... they sort of ducked back & peeked as he went
by. Little did they know that he loved them dearly and would do
all he could to keep them safe.
