People ask me to describe the game of Vegas 2090 and I always seem to be at a loss. It is my
hope that this web page helps describe it. I am also putting together some information that I
have put out to my players to hopefully help explain this dark and twisted world.
I sent out this information in bits and pieces. The reason for this is because this game was not supposed to end up being such a huge endeavor. It mutated.
The basic premise for this game was easy. A group of lawless citizens gets together and knocks off an armored vehicle and then does some espionage on a local casino. End of game.
Well, this being a Role-Playing game, the players decided to take a completely different route. In the process, I have had to create much more of the world than I thought I would need. The game started in the winter of 1997. I kept giving out little bits of info on a need-to-know basis but the game kept going off in different directions.
Now, it has turned into an epic adventure that encompasses much more than I ever dreamed of. I may complain about it at times but the truth is that it has turned out to be much more fun than originally planned too. The characters have developed, the story has fleshed out, and the world has taken on more depth.
I would love to be able to post the story here but it can never be told. All the characters have their own agendas and have many secrets that have not been shared with others in the game. Remember this if you ever find yourself if Vegas 2090, "Don't trust anyone."
