All Too Human - Episode #206 (spoilers below!) (Click here for review)

Dylan along with Beka and Trance on the Andromeda is determined to defend Mobius, believing this planet with its fledgling democracy a fine addition to the Commonwealth. The soon approaching danger is a ship called the Basilisk from Machen Alpha which recently destroyed a planet of 2 million people and AI's.

On Machen Rommie tries to convince Philip Kim that she can get them off planet along with his information on the Basilisk. While in computer contact with the Maru (underwater nearby) several Security agents enter and attack them. Rommie takes direct hits from their energy pistols, kills several agents and jumps with Kim out the window, cushioning their fall with her anti-gravity harness. However, when Kim realizes she is an AI he begs for his life! Trance on the Andromeda says they have a fix on the Basilisk and its task force, but without Rommie's information they do not know how to stop it.

Agent Carter on Machen surveys the firefight site and concludes they are dealing with an AI. Tyr give Rommie information on Security positions as she and Kim flee while she tries to convince Kim of her determination to protect him. Meanwhile on the Maru Harper has stomach pain and takes more medication when Rev points out that stress can arose the dormant Magog larvae within him. The Machenites discover Harper's satellite network hack and when they attempt to flee they are shot down.

Rommie hides out while Kim helps to repair her. He says that he helped design the Basilisk, but as a defense only. He also explains that after the Commonwealth's Fall they turned to AI's to hold of chaos, but were later harshly dealt with when AI logic failed to care for human needs. The AI's were driven to another planet, the one recently destroyed by the Basilisk. Later, as Rommie shows great concern for her friends on the Maru, Kim begins to see she has "human" feelings.

The Maru is sinking in a trench and Tyr is not sure how long the AG fields will hold. Dylan is forced to abandon them to protect Mobius. Shortly thereafter the Maru loses contact with the surface and encounters depth charges while Harper takes yet more medication. Tyr suggest they swim away, but Rev counters that they are so deep Harper would not survive. Soon Harper cries out and they find him in a coma from an overdose of the medication.

Agent Carter, aware of the search for the Maru has the places it could have landed identified. Meanwhile, Rommie convinces Kim to give her a disk which shows her a Magog swarm ship provided for research. Point singularity projectile (PSP) weapons from this are on the Basilisk, but Kim does not understand what is it or why Mobius is being attacked. Rommie insists on getting to the ship, though the security is so tight that Kim could not even get in.

Trance on Andromeda had previously said the Basilisk is closing and they slipped to Mobius. They launch drones and smart missiles which destroy two of the Basilisk's frigates. However, Beka detects "planets" and realizes they are PSP's that quickly stop the attack. Dylan realizes the Magog are trying to set them against each other.

On the Maru Rev plans to fill the ship with water to equalize pressure and use the air circulation system to pull water through and propel them up. However, there is only one EVA suit and while Rev can last an hour underwater Harper and Tyr can't. Initially Tyr rejects Rev's "preaching" and takes the only suit, but later relents and has Rev strap him down, hoping hypothermia will preserve his life after he can no longer hold his breath (for 12 minutes).

Rommie and Kim are attacked by Security and Kim is killed, saying at the last that Rommie was quite a women. Angered, she kills the attackers as well as Carter's hologram and access the disk to find a way to the swarm ship.

Committing all armaments (Rommie can rearm later with asteroids) the Andromeda attacks the Basilisk. When PSP's are fired at Mobius, Dylan a slipstream portal opened to suck them in even though this causes earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and the loss of the Mobius power grid. The Basilisk and its vessels are destroyed and they head back to retrieve their crew.

Meanwhile, Carter jacks in to the information network where Rommie is setting the fusion reactors to blow and takes down civil defense and other systems. She throws him out and enters the area where the Magog ship is, but is found by Carter there. He turns out to be an AI who stayed behind to make amends and they fight, with Carter finally destroyed when Rommie throws him a force lance set for overload.

On the Maru, Rev had flooded the ship and on the surface revives Tyr. When the approaching Magog ship turns out to be piloted by Rommie he says, "Not only is the Divine real, but he has a twisted sense of humor". Rommie tows them to the Andromeda where Tyr tells a apologetic revived Harper he will never again make a "noble sacrifice" for him. Meanwhile, Dylan gives Rommie his Order of the Vedran Empress medal saying she deserves it even though she feels she does not.
