"The Children of Time"

This race was never actually given a name, which is why I was forced to call them by this rather flowery phrase they used for themselves. They were featured in the episode Believers but have not shown up again since. Then again, considering what happened to them, and the way they were treated by the higher-ups on the station, you can sorta understand WHY they don't feel like coming back...
They are another mostly humanoid race, with (from what we've seen) light skin, reddish-brown hair worn long, slanted eyebrows and slight ridges leading from the outside tips of the eyebrows up the forehead. They have EXTREMELY strict and fanatical religious views. To the point where it's scary.
Do NOT attempt to invite a "Time-Child" to a party, in fact, they would be horribly offended if you invited them to a LIBRARY. They consider any and all exposure to "foreign ideas" to be dangerous to their young (and maybe also when mature?) because it would "lead them off the true path"...to keep "evil temptation" away, a young "Child of Time" is allowed to read ONLY holy texts, or "The Scrolls" and have ONLY holy entertainment.
The one and only good part of their culture, as far as I can tell, is that the women seem to be dominant, or at least the customary speakers. Notice that when they went to see Sinclair for help, he said "If you had an Ambassador here I could ask HER" (emphasis mine) "and that would make this all a lot easier". And notice that when they were going around asking the different alien Ambassadors, it was always the mother who explained the story to them, the father more or less keeping his mouth shut during the conversations.
But other than that, these are NOT a fun race. They make the MINBARI look positively FESTIVE!
Their views include something about how they were all hatched from "The Great Egg", how if they are punctured their soul will escape, and that NOTHING, not animals, not even other sentient races, HAS a soul except them. In their view of the cosmos, the ONLY "sacred" race is their own. They are the ONLY race that "counts". A very chauvanistic viewpoint. Stay away.
