Southern Siren

Soft sweet siren from the south,
her arms reach out, embrace me tight.
I look up with the love I offer,
and in answer I see the darkest night.

I'm fallin, far into the blackness,
No starlight here to comfort me.
This abyss that I myself created,
was blind then and now i'll never see.

All is dark and all is black,
All silent, this abyss of mine.
Far away I hear her laughing,
as, on my heart, she starts to dine.

So strip my soul of all thats left,
I tell you friend, there isn't much.
My will is broken, strength is sapped,
and theres no heart left for you to touch.

Leave me, for once, yearning for the sun,
for her I dug a big black hole.
Now I'm trapped, and I wish for end,
to my tortured, twisted, broken soul.
