Insectrons

 A group of Mercenary insect Beast Wars Transformers, who appear in Beast Wars II. They fled Seibertron to live on Gaea, which they protect, along with the energy it has that the Destrons seek. The Insectron members are:

Cartoon Bio (Japan):

When the Cybertrons and Destrons arrived on Gaea, they came in contact with the Insectrons, a group of mercenaries from Seibertron who wanted peace.

At first, the Insectrons were out to stop both factions, and Mantis even went up against Lioconvoy (but lost when Apache transformed into his weapon mode). But when they realised the threat of Galvatron and the other Destrons, they made an alliance with the Cybertrons.
