Spanner
A neutral scientist from Cybertron who is most noted for creating the spacebridge in the comic continuities. He was last seen as part of the spacebridge.
Spanner, a scientist on Cybertron, was kidnapped by the Decepticons for Lord Straxus, and forced to build a inter-dimensional traveling device. Spanner designed the spacebridge, but his body was incorporated into it by the Decepticons. Lord Straxus was determined to use it to reunite with Megatron and the other Decepticons on Earth. When Blaster brought information on the spacebridge to Perceptor the Autobots launched an attack on Darkmount (the castle of Lord Straxus). Using that as a distraction, Blaster tried to destroy the spacebridge, found that Spanner was part of it, and refused to blow it up. Spanner has not been mentioned since.
