Ranking System:

Here at Omega Squadron we have developed a ranking system based on your paricipation in the Squadron, not just your Tie Fighter Skill. If we kept the rank you gained in the game everyone will become a General too quickly. Instead, we have a point based promotion system where a certain number of points are given for various squadron activites.

Earning Achievement Points

General forum and communication activity: regular messages and conference attendance+200 points
POV's and short stories: each story+50 points
Mission Building: each mission+50 points
Helpfiles: each helpfile+100 points
HTML work / Graphical Work+75/100 points
Ultilies / New Ships+50-200 points

These promotions are based off the base rank of Flight Officer, which is earned by completing Tie Fighter Skill Requirements. Members of the Coyotes start with a base rank of Lieutenant.

To obtain a promotion in Omega Squadron or when applying for a SW position, E-mail your pilot file to your SW Commander, who will review your pilot file and then confirm it with Omega Leader, and then your Commander will promote you. The Squadron table will be updated and redistributed.

To obtain a Squadron Position e-mail your pilot file to Teleoceras and Red Falcon which position you are applying for and why you wish to obtain that position, then the file will be confirmed. If it turns out ok, then you will be promoted and the Squadron table will be updated and redistributed.
