Well - what can I say about this novella?  Most of it was written over the most intense 10 days of my life during July, 1998.  I lived and breathed the story.  It was heavenly. This has become one of my personal favourites, and the writing time is something I treasure as a memory.

Written originally for the 1998 Earth 2 Fanfic challenge, Auryn soon became something much more.  Early plot outlines never included something the size and scope of the final product!  And so I planned to make this story an "online reading experience" with images and songs for each section.  Unfortunately, given the facts that .wav files are far too big to upload, and midi files sound terrible, the song-per-scene idea was dropped.  (The online version includes 2 pieces: the Earth 2 theme music, and "Auryn" from The Neverending Story soundtrack.
