After a falling out with Logan, Max resolves to leave men alone. However, when Logan is kidnapped, she sets a plan in motion to save him.
It seems after Max and Logan's kiss and the temporary end of the Lydecker threat that the writers aren't quite sure where to go next with Dark Angel. This episode is merely there to renew the friendship between Logan and Max by putting Logan once more into jeopardy. It takes quite a while to set up this rather simplistic story, and without a particularly well-written or well acted villain, there's not really much to get your teeth into here.
The villain in question is a man who wants to know who 'Eyes Only' is as he's being persecuted for his crimes by Logan's information system. Logan's admission to being Eyes Only could be a vital plot point, but is easily taken care of by Max using a voice-changing device to pretend to be Logan, or at least the voice he usually uses. After that it's merely a case of some impressive acrobatics in order to rescue Logan and the cop informant he's been kidnapped alongside, and it's all just too easy. Max hardly breaks a sweat, Logan and she realize how important they are to each other and everyone's happy.
While this is going on, the week's Jam Pony sub-plot involves Normal dating a woman who's the end result of a sex change. What could have been a rather sensitive and touching story is sadly played for comedy as Normal agrees to accept her for who she is, only to be told she's now also a lesbian. It's mildly amusing yet stupid, and seems merely there (like most of the Jam Pony sub-plots) to fill up the 45 minutes per episode.
