Courteney Cox

Ever since Scream 2 came out Courtney has said that she'd be in Scream 3 if her character survived the second one (that was back before it came out and none of the characters could say anything about their roles.) Anywhoo-Gale survived which means Gale is back. And to confirm this further, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson have mentioned that Courtney has signed on in interviews.

David Arquette
(Dewey Riley)

Yeppers, cutie patootie David Arquette is back to be the sexY (yes, I said sexy=) Deputy Dewey Riley!=) When asked about if he'd be in a Scream 3 if the time came for one, he said, "The fact that audiences seemed to enjoy my character also makes me feel like, you know, if there was another one I'd like to be a part of it just so I wouldn't let them down." There were questions asked about wether or not if David would be back or not when Courtney Cox broke up with him for Scream 2 co-star Liev Schriber, but obviously he is willing and ready to put that behind him!

It has also been reported that Liev will be back as the eery Cotton Weary. Maybe in Scream 3 he will have his own talk show and while Sidney is in town shooting her horror film, the meet up or something. I dont know why she would want to see him again after she had to basically bribe him to save her life. If I were her, as soon as I got my hands on a gun, I would have shot his ass after Mickey and Mrs. Loomis were dead.

Christie Clark

Rumors have it that a newcomer to the SCREAM scene is 'Days of our Lives' star, Christie Clark has signed on to do the film as well. It is said that at the I Know What You Did Last Summer premiere, Christie talked with Williamson and expressed interst to be in the 3rd installment there. What role would she be playing? Well-maybe a Casey Becker/Cici Cooper copy-cat role and or an actress that is in Sidney's horror film out in Hollywood. I've seen a few episodes of "Days" and she is a good actress and will be a very good addtion to the Scream Trilogy. Christie isn't a stranger to horror movies either, she was in the 1985 film, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge as Jesse's little sister and was also in the 1993 film, Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice.
