In a mental hospital on long island, a girl is sitting down making paper dolls, each representing a voice in her head, which have something planned.
Back at Deadpool's place, Wade and Blind Al are talking and playing basketball, and then Wade is off to the Hellhouse. At the Hellhouse, Deadpool gets a job to bust a woman
out of a mental hospital, then gets another job to kill the same woman. Posing as a Doctor, and Weasel as a patient, the two get into the Gutman Institute for Mental Excellence.
Once in the secure ward, Deadpool is stopped by a female who has been hired to stop Deadpool killing or breaking the woman out of the hospital (it would seem that each of the
woman's personalities has hired someone to do something).
The female who has been hired to stop Deadpool turns out to be the Vamp. DP defeats her and is ready to get some answers but a patient helps out the Vamp and Wade ends up blowing her up. After the smoke clears all that is left is a large monster called Animus. Animus puts Wade through a wall and into the cell of the woman he was sent to kill/help. She hands Wade an account number, takes his gun and then Animus step on a paper doll destroying that personality. Just as Animus is about to hit Deadpool again, Weasel runs him over with a truck and they escape. With Animus' defeat, only one personality is left, which turns out to be Typhoid Mary.
