OK, we got some mail from some people that said they were dissapointed with this ish. I wasn't exactly
dissapointed, but it was obvious that this story was just an excuse to get Wade and Al sent back in time for the coming
issues. But anyway, here's what happened ...
Deadpool and Blind Alfred take a trip to the aquarium and coincidently so do the freaks from the Great Lakes Avengers. Wade's been having troubles lately and offers Al the chance at freedom. Al decides not to escape and waits for Deadpool to come get her, and thinking that Wade is going to hurt Al, the GLA (forthwith to be known as the Lightning Rods), intervene to try and stop 'Pool, but in the end, Deadpool and Al get teleported back in time. Or so Weasel discovers with miracle device that he just happens to have with him.
O ne last thing, whoever has been writing into Marvel asking for the Great Lakes Avengers to return to the pages of comicdom, should shut up and stop giving writers really stupid ideas. First time I've ever seen the GLA, and hopefully next issue of DP will be the last.
