Nomoz
The original trainer of Azrael. He is a dwarfling, a race genetically created by Dumas and his followers to serve and remember all laws, precepts, and ideals of the Order of St. Dumas(which makes them the ideal trainers of Azrael). In the last five or so issues of AZRAEL, he has returned because of Rollo's incompetence which destroyed the Order has led him here. (there are probably deeper meanings to explore, but I'm in a hurry right now ^_^)

Brother Rollo
Equivalent to a High Bishop among Catholics, Rollo is the Head of the Order of St. Dumas. He has gone insane and constantly ignores the talking head of Dumas which warns him of his errors. Finally, Azrael and his companions are aided by Rollo's insanity and destroy the Order and the Ice Cathedral. Presumbably, Rollo died by the Soul of the Mother of St. Dumas or in the explosion of the Cathedral.

Grey Abbot
The creator of Azraels, he mixes around with genetic material in pursuit of serving Saint Dumas. He has a half-cybernetic side (eye, face, arm, etc.). His lab is destroyed by Azrael in issue 7; he eventually is found to be in Arkham Asylum. Azrael goes in to try to free him to learn more about Az's birth, but Azrael is overwhelmed by the inmates. However, he fights back and wins; but, Azrael (both Jean Paul and Azrael) realize that a promise to not let anyone out of Arkham includes the Abbott, and Az leaves him there. Presumably, since he was shot by the guards and Swat Team, the Grey Abbott is dead.

Falze Azrael
A chump who was given the Azrael training to replace Jean Paul who was still in Gotham, he tries to kill Azrael. However, the skill imparted by the System in Jean Paul defeats him. He falls to his death but is saved by Kadabra (Underworld story arc) who gives him Azrael's modified Batman suit and tells him to get Batman. In issue 10, Batman defeats him yet unlike Azrael who let him fall, Batman saves the False Az, all while Azrael watches. He hasn't been seen since...

Brother Zoo
The Brother of the Order who created the Dumasian beasts and worked on the animals' and with the Abbott to develop the beasts. He dissappeared in the story after a while also....where did he go??
