Shimmers(as she's known)was raised by Frederick Courtier
(her grandfather & mentor) since she was 3years old. He
always taught her to never, ever trust anyone. He also had
her name changed to Aurora Hawk that way her parents couldn't
find her.Frederick has been teaching her in the ways of the
Hermetic Mage, with a particular liking as a Combat Mage.
She's been told since she was old enough to understand
that her parents Trenton&Julia Courtier were killed in
a car accident. Upon her 17th birthday, Frederick told
her the truth. Her parents were both corporate
executives with the Fuchi Corporation. When he learned
that they were planning to train Shimmers as a Corp-Mage,
he kidnapped her and has raised her ever since. He told
her now that she's 17 she needs to search her soul &
choose her path. Hence she came to the city to find her
path & has been here for a year. Upon arriving in the
city she located the Bug and he helped her learn to
survive in the city, and remains a friend and confidant.
She's learned alot on the streets about suits and she
hates the corporations and she blames them for the
destruction of her family. She's also learned that her
parents are still searching for her, but she doesn't
want to be found by them. She's been on guard and hasn't
let anyone get close to her, that is til recently.
