Asrire FAQ

Q: Why are all the Asire adults? Why Can't I get a foal?

A: The only soul that sees an Asrire foal is it's mother. Soon after birth all foals head into the Shadow Realm through the portals. The foals wander around in the Shadow Realm Worlds until they grow into their full powers and can find their way home.

Q: What is the Shadow Realm?

A: All undirected portals open into the Shadow Realm. The Shadow Realm worlds is simply a name for a collection of worlds and universes. This group of worlds are shadowy dark places, hence the name. These worlds are usually fraught with many dangers and monsters. All of the Asrire are changed by this experience. Some change for the worse, and some for the better.

Q:What's a Warriors Mark?

A: The Warrior Mark is simply a tattoo like marking around or near an Asrire's eye/eyes that is proof of the fact that they have a warriors personality. Most, if not all, of the Asrire with the mark have extreme tempers. Some with the warriors mark are calmer then others and it takes more to anger them.

Q:Is the Leader of the Tarsuinn called a king?

A: No, Midnight Sun is the only king. The leader of a Tarsuinn is called the Lead or Main stallion.

Q:How many Asrire are in a Tarsuinn?

A: Usually no more then twelve or so in a Tarsuinn. A ratio of two mares to every stallion is the best way to go. So if you have 4 stallions you should have eight mares.

Q:Can Asrire form pairs?

A: Yes they can. To mate each Asrire must have a link to their mates page. (Unless of course they share the same page, then it's a moot point. )

Q: My Asrire doesn't have a mate or Tarsuinn and you have Extended Breedings available. How can I get an Asrire?

A: There are two ways. The first one is to ask some-one else if you can get a breeding from their pair or Tarsuinn. The second way is to get a Breeding from Midnight Sun's Tarsuinn.

Q: How can I get a Foal from Midnight Sun and his Tarsuinn?

A: Wait until there are extended breedings available and then sign that form.

Q: Are there any obvious differences between Stallions and Mares?

A: Yes, stallions have beards, mares don't.

Q: What is a Seer or Dreamer?

A: An Asrire Seer or dreamer is an Asrire mare or stallion that has other talents outside the norm. The most common Seer or Dreamer talent is the ability to see a short ways into the future. Others may include control over the elements and the ability to read minds. Emerald green eyes usually identify a seer, but not always. The last seer was born over 50 years ago, and it is extremely unlikely one would be born now.

Q:Can an Asrire have mutations?

A: Yes. The most common types of mutations are wings and lion like tails. Others have been seen though.

Q: Are some colors of features more rare then others?

A:The only feature that is rare is silver hooves. Asrire with silver hooves often live longer then those without and are thought to be faster and more agile.

Q:Do Asrire have their own version of Hello?

A: Ja~ni is a greeting they have picked up from the Shadow Realm. Hello, Hi or other version of greeting will do just fine though. They're not picky.

Q: Do the Asrire have their own language?

A: Yes they do, but they don't share it with non-Asrire or speak it where other non-Asrire may hear.

Q: How many Asrire can a realm provide a home for before earthquakes become a problem?

A: Because of the nature of the portals the exact number is not known. As long as you have the Asrire spread out over a large area you should be fine.

Q: How many Asrire have been adopted out?

A: Again, I'm not sure of the exact number, but there's definitely more then 100. Roughly around two hundred at this moment.

Q: What do Asrire Eat?

A: Asrire eat grass and wheat ect just like horses. Although since coming to the realm they have developed a taste for chocolate. ^.^

Q: Where do Asrire like to live?

A: Asrire like plains, meadows and savannas. Their ideal spot would have a great view, a few trees, lots of grass and a pond or lake to go swimming in.

Q: Is there a Plural form of Asrire?

A: Nope! Didn't you notice I haven't used the word Asrires once yet? ^.^

Q: How long have the Asrire Existed?

A: Well, I drew my first Asrire on July 31st 1999, so about three years. I still have him on file. Want to see?
