Once again your guide, the blue fox like creature, is hustling you along. You're becoming worried about this. The last time he hustled you along like this was when you were on your way to visit the Death Raveen, Doruun. "Guide?" You ask somewhat hesitantly.

"Hrm?" Is the fox's grunted inquiry. He hasn't bothered to look up at you, he's still scanning the area.

"Why are we moving so quickly?" You ask, glancing somewhat nervously around.

"Because this is not an area we want to linger in." He replies darkly.

"Er.. Why is that?" You question, now decidedly anxious. The guide's dark tone wasn't at all encouraging.

"This is the territory belonging to Onraa'glike, she's a Disturbed Kat, and I mean that literally. Her element is a sort of sub element of Halloween, Disturbed. She really is freaky..."

"Why thank you, Guide! I don't believe I've caught anyone calling me that before." Purrs a female voice from overhead. A glance up shows you the nightmare feline figure lounging on an large branch.

This Raveen looks as if she was stitched together from left over parts of other Kats. A real frankenstein, she's covered with stitches and scars. Her fur is a patchwork of different colors. Mostly black in color, there are patches of red, green and peach are stitched together to complete her hide.

Guide's reaction might have been funny had the situation not been so serious. His eyes go positively huge for a moment before making the effort to make his features more or less calm. Despite his efforts, his tail has gone bottle-brush, expanding as his fur stands. "You're welcome, Onraa'glike. My apologies, but the wanderer and I must be going. Others to visit, you know.."

"Oh but stick around awhile." The Disturbed Kat stretches languidly. "I haven't had anything to play with in ages. It's so disappointing. You up for a fight, little dog?"

With that comment she drops to the ground and swiftly slinks towards you, the most disturbing grin on her face. A single wing, as much of a mismatch as the rest of her, flips open to aid her balance. "I haven't had a good fight in.. Oh, an entire day! Doruun really is terribly amusing, you know... but I get the feeling he's not really making his best efforts when we play." If the situation had been slightly less serious you might have burst into laughter at the dramatic, long suffering sigh that Onraa heaves after that comment.

"I think something about your immunity to instant death abilities puts him off, " Guide makes the offhand comment while slowly edging backwards. "And we really must be going. We've a busy schedule to keep."

The Disturbed Kat looks as if she's sulking. "No? How unfortunate. Perhaps the Wanderer is up for a little fun?" She turns her red gaze on you thoughtfully. "Not much of a challenge though. No natural weapons, no abilities either. Much more like prey, really..." The last bit is a thoughtful sort of purr.

"Run." Guide says flatly, then speeds off. You waste no time in following him, expecting to feel claws in your back at any moment.

To your surprise the only thing that follows you out is the ring of mocking laughter. "Do come again!" Onraa'glike calls, still laughing.

"Overall, I really do prefer Doruun." Guide comments when you finally stop to catch your breath. "He at least has enough sense to realize that Onraa and her kind are a couple Kiezo short of a flight."

You're content with your escape until you realize what Guide just said. "You mean there's MORE of those things?!"

"Uh yeah, Onraa has two daughters in realm. Though one is still a cub and the other is... sort of under control."

You didn't even want to know what "sort of" under control meant. With a sigh you observe that it's probably too much to hope that you won't run into them at some point.

Way too much to hope, evidently, as another nightmare has just slid into view. This must be one of Onraa's daughters, as this little monster just had to be Disturbed.

She's the same mixed up mass of flesh Onraa is, with patches of red, green and brown sewn into her black hide. There's visible fragments of bone along the back of her neck and around her shoulders, and what appear to be eyes the same color as the ones in her head peer from gaps in her flesh. Not to mention the red glow from the energy blade on her tail. Somehow you suspect getting slashed with that would make your day very pleasant indeed... Was that a noose around her neck?

"Have you seen Itami around?" She asks politely.

" No Syfaena, not recently, " Guide answers.

The disturbed absently pulls on the rope around her neck. You're certain it actually IS a noose. " She never comes to play any more. Taimu is making her boring. Mum is no fun anymore either. "

"No doubt you'll find something to do Syfaena... You always do, and it's usually painful." The last is added in a muttered undertone.

"Thank you anyway, Guide. Goodbye!" With that, the little disturbed bounces off again.

"Disturbeds." Guide sighs. It's a roll of the eyes and a curse, all in one word. " I have no idea where she got that politeness kick from, but you should see what happens when you're rude to her."

"Do I even want to know?" With something as well... Disturbing as those Kats you're reasonable certain it'll be gruesome.

" You know all those gaps in her flesh?" Guide shares cheerfully. "They get larger when she's annoyed, and the exposed stuff starts glowing. It's creepy now, and she's still small. I expect it'll be downright terrifying when she's older. "

"Remind me not to come back this way when she's grown."
