In Mos Eisley

They met Han Solo

To Alderaan

They all would go

They got sucked in

By a tractor beam

Of the Death Star

A very powerful machine

The Princess Leia

They learned was there

To rescue her

They would dare

Then they all headed

To the waiting ship

Unless the tractor beam was out

It would be a short trip

They saw Ben dueling

With a dark man

Fighting with skill

A lightsaber in their hands

When Ben saw Luke

He stopped right there

Let Vader strike him down

Then disappeared

With a heavy heart

Luke fled with his friends

But that was not

Where the battle would end

Finally safe

At a Rebel base

They planned their attack

Against the Imperials, face to face

Firing the shot

That destroyed the Death Star

Luke became a hero

And he was known wide and far

His dream came true

And to space he had gone

Now a pilot and a hero

His journey would go on.
