1-1/4 cup Shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
6 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat oven to 350-375° F
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add vanilla and egg.
Alternate flour, baking powder, salt, and milk.
Roll out and cut.
Bake at 350-375° F for 10-12 minutes.
Cool for 2 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen cookies
