Description: Join with all women and share the beauty
of natural bushland surrounded by a clear stream, landscaped
by the Goddess’ hand. (This is a camping only weekend, so BYO
tend or plan to share). Rites of Passage into Womanhood, and
Cronehood, a Motherblessing for pregnant women and Reconsecration
of the Womb ritual for sexually abused women are available with
prior arrangement.

Description: Julia Phillips, author of the Witches of
Oz, will be presenting a workshop and ritual at the this years
Mind Body Spirit festival. The workshop will follow the structure
of Witches of Oz by focusing on the practice of Wicca in the
southern hemisphere: Origins of Wicca - its early days and development
in the 20th century. A brief look at the origins of Wicca, how
and why it arose, and what influenced its development. Tools
and practices of modern Wicca. What Wiccans believe and do,
including the traditional working tools used in modern covens.
The principles of Wiccan magic. Wiccan magic has its basis in
a combination of traditional folklore and ceremonial magic.
We will look at some traditional spells, and the influence of
ceremonial magic. The Wiccan Wheel of the Year An examination
of the importance of the cycle of the seasons and the way in
which Wiccans relate this to their personal development. A seasonal
(Samhain) ritual for all participants The workshop is 6.30 to
10pm on Saturday 29 April (so handy for Samhain!) at Darling
Harbour.

Description: at Lorrienne Lodge, Bowraville, NSW (this
is close to Nambucca Heads, Coffs Harbour and Bellingen about
halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, on the mid-north coast).
Arrive Friday, leave Monday if you need to.
There is a limit of 60 people staying overnight, with 26 beds,
the rest in tents, so if you can bring a tent, please do so
in order that people who have no tent can take a bed in the
lodge or bunk in the cottage. Remember, the weather up north
will be quite mild at the end of April. Day trippers are most
welcome so if you live near, consider this option to help with
accommodating people from far away.

Description: Every month, the Sydney Wiccans will hold
the Pagan Picnic. A day to feast, enjoy nature, learn the old
ways and be with like minded people of all ages. At the Pagan
Picnic you can be a part of this interaction of knowledge. They
Sydney Wiccans will provide you with free Tarot and Palmistry
readings/workshops, runes, herbs, crystals, meditations, Shamanic
drumming (BYO drum), games and other Esoteric activities. The
Pagan Picnic is BYO and Artarmon has plenty of food outlets

Description: Pagans in the Pub is starting again in Sydney.
156 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills ,Sydney. Pagans in the Pub
should be a fortnightly gathering, but you can check by ringing
Blayze or me on Tuesday the 1st February and checking for future
dates.
It's been several years since we had a Pagans in the Pub in
Sydney and it's been sorely missed. A group of us comprising
of representatives from the Pagan Awareness Network, Pagan Alliance
NSW, Applegrove and Sydney Wiccans have got together to bring
this important resource back to Sydney.
We aim to have some serious discussions on a wide range of
topics that cover many Pagan paths. Of course, being a licensed
premises you will have to be over 18 to attend. Pagans in the
Pub will be run entirely by volunteers, no-one is making any
money out of this. Religious vilification will not be tolerated.

Description: The next Winter Feast will be in Sydney
(near Campbelltown), and includes overnight accommodation, on
the Sunday of the Long Weekend in June. There will be exciting
traditional music and entertainment. And a sumptuous menu. The
weekend includes some workshops, rites, and a craft market.
More than 120 Pagans and Heathens have attended annually in
the past. This year, seats will be limited to 80 so book early.

Description: The Adelaide Pagan Discussion Group is held
on the first Wednesday of each month at The Proscenium, Blyth
St, Adelaide at 8pm. There is usually a guest speaker, and plenty
of opportunity for discussion about the evening’s chosen topic.
The Pagan Discussion Group is free of charge, and is a great
way to meet like minded people.
Australian Wiccan Conference 2000

Description: The historic site of Gladstone Gaol (used
as a popular conference centre for the last two decades) will
be the venue for this event. It is 260 km North of Adelaide
and will provide a private setting for those Pagans and Wiccans
who wish to feast, ritualise, and workshop the weekend away.
Accommodation and all meals will be provided. More details about
this conference will be advertised as soon as they become available.
