Museum Goals

1. To house antiquities discovered in the eastern section of the Lower Galilee.
2. To become a focal point for archaeological research in the area.
3. To provide visitors with the tools needed to more fully appreciate archaeology.
4. To familiarize area residents with the ancient forms of settlement through the ages and to give them a better understanding of their region.
5. To show the link between the Bible, history, and archaeology.
6. To make visitors more fully aware of ancient crafts through hands-on experience with them.
7. To provide a learning center for children, youth and adults where the aforementioned goals will be achieved.
8. To teach appreciation for the treasures of the past, as well as the importance of their preservation.
