BETSY'S WORDS...

LOVE CIRCLES

Aaron, young and tender soul
He surely made his mark
Like a pebble in the water
Love circles do embark....

To what destination
We often don't know.
They touch one another
And outward they go...

SNOWFLAKE

Every little snowflake
Is totally unique.
No little snowflake
Can we ever keep.
Every little child
Though we love him much
Is individual, beautiful
Does not belong to us.

One little snowflake
Touches many others.
Melts into the universe.
One of God's wonders.

FLOWER POWER

I had a thought about flowers
I connected them to God.
I was in the "God is Dead" mode
And this is what I thought......
I believe in what I can see
And touch and smell and hear.
With God, you cannot do this.
So forget it. He's not here.
I was looking at carnations
In the fluted crystal vase
When suddenly, it came to me
The mysterious, opposite case....
What if I were blind
And could not smell or hear.
If I had lost my sense of touch
Would the flowers still be here?
Yes, I think they'd be here
Though sense them, I could not.
Blooming in full beauty-
Perhaps it's so with God....
