I keep waiting for the phone to ring: "Hi B!"
I keep looking for the email from you:"Cheryl and I are still moving to J'Ville!"
I keep looking around to see where that, "Yeah, RIGHT" is coming from knowing you are no longer here on earth. But I keep hearing you.
You would get a huge kick out of the fact that when Nora called to break the news to me, I was on the toilet. You're ROFL! Aren't you?! I knew you'd love that. And I can hear you say, "Oh yeahhhhhhhhh....you'd BETTER make this good, B! I'm worth it!"
And you are.
So much more than what I can ever do here for you. You knew I'd lost my touch at HTML and even wrote to "get back to work on Agape's website!"... And I can see you smiling, knowing you're the reason I'm re-learning how to do all this.
You are the brother I always dreamt of. So caring. Calling right when I needed to hear your voice--listening to Cheryl joke in the background.
You uplifted so many of us. You are the kind of friend that will never be forgotten. You touched so many lives. (I can hear you groaning, saying, "Enough!")
But words will never be enough. I ache to hear your laughter--just one more time. To hear about your family and sharing dramas. I want to still grab onto the hope, the thought that you and Cheryl were inevitably going to be here in Florida.
I pictured us out by the pool, the gang all here, and looking up to the sky and smiling.
Now, as I swim in that pool, I look up to the sky, and I wave.
I'll forever miss you, love you and wish you were still here.
Save me a spot, will you?

Have I told you lately how grateful I am that we were finally
able to meet? Did I tell you what a joy it was to meet you and
your lovely wife? Did I tell you how you eased my pain during that
most trying weekend? Only one who has lost a child can understand how
that pain never leaves. But on the anniversary of my daughter's death,
I was surrounded by loving people. You, Cheryl, Larry, and Carmella's twin,
Cathy-- surrounded by smiles, laughter, love to shield the pain of
my loss. You knew it. You knew what I was going through, and you looked
beyond my pain and helped me to get through it. I thank you for that
David. I thank you for caring, for your concern, for your love.
Please, never--ever change from the sensitive man that you are.

Thank you for that large sum of $ you sent me.
It should be enough to keep Courtney in school, and
college for the next 18 years or so. So I guess I won't
be able to send *you know who*, the pictures of you. DARN!

This means that you will have so much energy when you return,
that you should be able to do at least 1 newsletter a week?
That's if everyone has sent in articles, and such to be put

All I can say to you is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
You kept the flame fires burning not only brightly, but
the warmth that emitted from that fire has brought in
new blood and made the older residents quite comfy!

friendship that I have found here...You are soooo
