Pooh's Place is currently looking for Character Best Friends:

Who is a Best Friend? Well, a Best Friend is someone that helps manage a certain part of Pooh's Place. He or she is responsible for helping maintaining a certain character's (Eeyore, Roo, Tigger, etc.) homepage. They will be responsible for making sure links work, searching for new links to add or old ones to remove, coming up with interesting ideas for what the page should contain and generally help keep the area running smoothly. Right now the only characters that are looking for best friends are Owl, Kanga, Eeyore and Roo. Who exactly is Pooh and I looking for? We want people who really love Pooh's Place and truly want to help make it an outstanding site for everyone to enjoy. We want kids (and adults) who really enjoy the web, who are creative and really love the character who they are the best friend for or have a passion for the subject matter that character's page contains.

Duties:

A Best Friend is in charge of one character's homepage (in Pooh's Place) or a certain section in Roo's Playground and helps a lot in maintaining it, coming up with new and interesting ideas for content and features, etc. If you are chosen to be a Best Friend, you'll always get plenty of help if you need it and also hopefully, become a member of the Pooh's Place Board of Directors, where you're be able to be in easy touch with all other Best Friends, Directors and also the Head Maintainer of Pooh's Place and also be able to hear all about the latest changes and proposed changes to Pooh's Place and Roo's Playground and also be able to give your feedback on new ideas, etc.

Job Requirements:

• You must be between the ages of 7 and 25 years old (some exceptions can be made to this rule if you really want to help)
• You must love or feel strongly about Pooh and/or the character you want to be in charge of.
• You must have the time to check out the site on a regular basis and help keep it up to date.
• You must enjoy cruising the internet and have decent spelling skills.
• You must abide by the guidelines, rules and regulations of Pooh's Place.
• This job may be taken by a small group (2 or 3 co-best friends) if you really wish.
