1.  SILVANUS SULLIVAN⁹ SPAULDING  (SYLVANUS SULLIVAN⁸, HEMAN⁷ SPALDING, URIAH⁶, URIAH⁵, SAMUEL⁴, SAMUEL³, JOHN², EDWARD¹) was born 12 June 1847 in Dundee, Monroe Co., Michigan, and died 05 April 1920 in Michigan.  He married MARGARET THERESA COUNTRYMAN 04 July 1869 in Dundee, Monroe Co., Michigan, daughter of GEORGE COUNTRYMAN and MARGARET JORDAN.  She was born 08 February 1852 in Clay, Onondage Co., New York, and died in Michigan.

According to Grandma Mildred Irene ( Bolster ) Spaulding, Frederick Spaulding was a nice quit man with a real calm personality and it took allot to upset him but when he got mad she said " it was best to stay out of his way." She also said he loved his family a great deal. Frederick Silvanus Spaulding died in 1948 and is laid to rest with his wife and children in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dundee, Monroe Co., Michigan.
