Sign the Cyberspace Declaration of Independence.

John Perry Barlow, lyricist and cyber-liberties activist, has written a declaration against the nations of the world, declaring cyberspace a new haven for everyone, that THEY(the governments) CANNOT infringe upon. Read it, and sign it along with the thousands of others that have already done so.

Internet encryption exportation... You too can become a criminal!!!

picture of tattoo of perl programOk, so after 5 days, I finally add a link... This is one hell of a cool site! What it does: It allows you to mail a perl program that contains the RSA data encryption scheme(which is controlled for export as munitions), to a small island country. The export of this encryption is considered munitions export, and is illegal. After you export it, you can either basically tell no-one you did it(what's the point then?), get your name listed on a list of people who have exported it(I was the 1,212th), or the best of all... Have a note sent automatically to the President telling him that you believe it should be legal, and that Harry Browne and Bob Dole both support relaxing export controls. He should, too. The image is of a person who has the program tattooed on his body. Does this mean that he can't travel to foreign countries? Good question!!!

Direct Democracy

Direct Democracy is a wonderful idea... I support a direct democracy, with certain constitutional limits(of course, they would be libertarian ;) This is the first time in history where a civilization could experience an unfettered, true democracy... A government of the people. However, I don't think it would ever happen with all the power hogs in government. I don't think I agree with everything this guy says, but it's still an important issue.

Libertarian Programmers Guild

This page is created by a group that I'm somewhat involved in(I haven't really done anything for them yet, but I was going to help work on their page...) It's dedicated to bringing the idea of free exchange of ideas, and will also bring libertarian programmers together for support. If you like to program, check this page out and write to David(the organizer of the guild)...

CyberScare Scrapbook

What are the facts surrounding the Communications Decency Act? What are the actual numbers? How much porn is on the "net" and how much is on adult private bulletin boards? This little gem details the actual Rimm Report which claims that there's SOOOO much porn on the net that we need to protect our children from.

Christians against net censorship?!?(GASP!!!)

Unbelievable as it may seem, yes, there are actually Christians against net censorship... Even Christians who normally aren't libertarian. Check out this article in Christian Computing magazine, and see that there is some hope out there.

TA DA, it's SMUT BABY!!!

Smut Baby is a site that is just cool. I totally agree with the idea! What it basically points out is the jerks in power who use children for political power. Not just for net censorship(which is why I put it here), but also for things like the Branch Davidian compound. There've been two smut baby awards so far... Janet Reno, and James Exon(the EVIL senator from Nebraska)... How dare they exploit children for their own political agenda, and the sick thing is... AMERICANS FALL FOR IT!!! e.g. read the cyberscare scrapbook I have linked to above, and you'll see what I mean...

Censor Bait

The Freedom of Expression Censor Bait Page has links to all kinds of naughty goodies for you not to see... It is an act of civil disobedience, which I applaud!!! BTW, the Supreme Court is going to review the Philadelphia courts ruling on the net soon, so if they say the law is constitutional, I am going to place some nasty disgusting pictures of people on the net, and you can see them for free!!! OOHHH...
