Reincarnation

--by Marion Stewart

I was checking the mail inside my Hollywood bungalow, when a neighbor approached me. He was an attractive man, who lived directly above me. We had never spoken a word to each other, so I was a little surprised when he walked toward me. He smiled and introduced himself, then shook my hand and said, "I don't want to startle you, but I'm psychic and would like to do a reading on you." I grinned and asked, "Why?" He replied, "I am intrigued with your aura." How could I turn him down?

My boyfriend was visiting me at the time. (He was the one who had driven me to the airport in the rain, after I had decided to seek my fame and fortune in Hollywood.) *grin*

All three of us were gathered in my bungalow. My neighbor asked if there was something special of mine he could hold while he conducted the reading. I gave him a silver necklace, which I always wore. It was a medallion, which had been blessed by the Pope in 1966. My mother had it blessed at the Vatican, so it meant a lot to me. I took it off and handed it over.

"Perfect!" he said. "Let me start by saying, that I will get the past, present and future mixed up sometimes," he continued. With his eyes closed, he said a short prayer and almost immediately began to recount the rainy drive to the airport. My boyfriend looked at me quizzically.

Then, the friendly seer began to describe me in the future--he thought! He said, "You are in a rocking chair, surrounded by several children. You are laughing, and doing something with your hands. It's not knitting, it's something else." Instantaneously, tears flowed freely down my cheeks. He had described my grandmother to a tee. While sitting in her rocking chair she would peel apples and oranges for us when my brothers, sisters and I were kids. We would gather around her favorite chair, eagerly awaiting our slice of fruit.

There were other things he told me regarding my future. Some things that have not come true yet. I do not want to mention these, for they are sacred to me.

Regarding my past, he mentioned that I have lived many lifetimes, and that I was an old and wise soul. He said, "You are blessed." Which, by the way, I think we all are, if we choose it!

The next day, I wasted no time. I ran to the library and checked out all the books I could find on "Reincarnation." I read and read until I was satisfied. The message I received from a friendly neighbor in 1981 has been one of the most significant in my life. Without a doubt, I believe in reincarnation. I have found proof in my life. If you are the least bit skeptical, you will find the answer within yourself. Read up on this fascinating topic, and then ask yourself the question, "Have I lived before?"
