I would think that if you are actually "part Indian" you would have changed the name of your web site, after finding out there is no such thing as a "cherokee princess." After all that is an offensive and degrading term used by white people! And for all o these people thinking that they have "hidden cherokee roots" most likely YOU DON'T. There was no such thing as a Native "princess". This was a ;quot;title" brought by the Europeans because they could not understand tribal life, and the hierarchy of chiefs, medicine people, and the families of those peop e. They tried calling the chiefs "Kings" (i.e., King Phillip), the female chiefs quot;Queen", and the female daughters "Princesses". It didn't work. However, it was the only language the Europeans knew, and the only way they knew how to identify the tribal leaders and their families. Fortunately, the titles all faded away except for the accursed "princess", which makes everyone gag. Any time you hear someone refer to a family member as such, you know they know absolutely nothing about Native heritage or tradition. It is a white term.
