H: It is a version strongly associated with Con Cassidy.  The recoding was made

H: versions such as that appearing in O'Neill's collections.
Z: The ede portion of the third bar in the second part is played in such a way that the D note
Z: is is sharp and may even be between D sharp and E.  This series of notes is often played 
Z: on a single bow to give a very fluid sound.  Though Donegal music is generally considered
Z: fast paced music the older players of this tune play it at a moderate pace.
Z: Con Cassidy usually played the G sharps in the second part of the tune by sliding up 
Z: from G natural.  Other players from the area tend to slide up less and sound the note directly.
