The RMCA has a really interesting site, at least in Ghatten's humble opinion and though Ghatten really likes mice, I found the "standard" RMCA logo kinda creepy. This page gave Ghatten a new type of appreciation for mice and rats (okay, I don't CARE if you don't believe me, it's true....). I never imagined so many rat and mouse breeds and even judged mouse shows ...why Ghatten's whiskers begin to twitch at the very thought!
Apparently these afficionados of rodentia are quite serious about their little friends and the camaraderie with others who share their feelings. The RMCA site gives the newbie to their world a good introduction with the opportunity to join the RCMA.
Among the treats the RMCA has put on line for the serious or the merely curious, are the table of contents for the past issues of their Rat and Mouse Gazette with links to some articles such as To Spay or Not to Spay and a handy guide to vets who are reportedly good to their tiny patients.
They also take the time to maintain a large and annotated listing of links with links to sites of interest such as the Raternity Ward (cute name) where you can find info on exotic rats, The House of the Mouse with mouse links and mouse poetry (!!) and Rat City, with lots of ratty links of its own.
Since Ghatten's drooling all over the keyboard with appreciation, you'll have to go explore the rest of the RMCA on your own... happy hunting... uh, happy surfing that is......
