CONGRATULATIONS! Another pride of the family and the Mampaalong clan. Teresa Marie Beltran-Getuiza just conquered the obstacle thesis defense for a doctorate degree in education. She could be one of the youngest achievers in this field. Appropriately she s now Doctor of Education Teresa Marie Beltran-Getuiza. She followed the footsteps of her grandfather the late school superintendent Jesus F. Barroso; of course her own mother Doctora Linda B. Beltran who served as BSC elementary principal for more than ten years; her uncle Victor M. Barroso who is the current BSC president. Again BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO! we are truly proud of you! Teaching is the most noble profession!

This site is quite astounding. There's still room for improvement though. like the background. It would look much better with a backdrop of a bukidnon landscape. However, I have a favor to ask to anyone who might have some relevant information. I'm looking for some old friends of mine from BSC. I'm looking for people that were in my classes. I was there for seven years from nursery to fourth grade, circa 1983- 1990. Especially my old best friends, particularly JP Barroso.

In 1965 I came to Bukidnon and gave a lecture at the state college. On the way down from Cagayan de Oro to visit with the Agriculture college, I counted 20 stalled trucks going up the big hill to the plateau. At that time there was no proper road; it was ot luck. I was glad to be in a 4wd Cherokee! I remember the rugged roads (then!) the superlative scenery, the tiny lamps along the road into Malaybalay at night. There was no electricity then (not even brownouts....). Most of all I remember the wonderfully friendly welcome from the college staff and students. The latter were all exotic or handsome (maganda) or both! I shall return, maybe in 2000!

Hello everyone! I was born in Cagayan De Oro in 1985. I live in the states with my dad Randy. My mother's name is Vivian Ramos and she has another daughter named Charito. They are still in Mindanao Somewhere. My Dad brought me to the States when I wa one year old, my mother and sister could not join us, and we have not had contact with them since 1989. Dad was in the Air Force and stationed at the "Weather Station" near the PPC pineapple plantation. I will be 14 years old on October 19th. My wish i to find my mother and sister. Any help would be greately appreciated.
