This is our Imbolc/Ostara 2000 issue. This issue is all about the topic of initiation. There are many different view points expressed in this issue. Much to our delight, #8 is even bigger than #7! We could not believe the response we got when we put feelers out for essays on initiation. We have found that this is a very emotional topic, and one that everyone seems to have an opinion on. Here's what you can expect from #8:
- We have 5 very in-depth essays on the topic of initiation. They range from Coven initiations, to life initiations, and self-initiation. Each one is honest, open, and thought provoking. And each one expresses an opinion without putting down differing opinions. For this, we are very proud!
- Poetry: As always, there is a lot of amazing poetry in this issue. All of them are very, very good.
- Plus, there is information about joining the Miami Valley Pagan Alliance, a beautifully written essay titled What is Wicca or Witchcraft? We also discuss our Coven's stance on initiation, and we have bios for each of our authors.
