Issue #7 came out during Samhain/Yule 1999. We are very proud of this issue for many reasons. First, we feel this cover art was one of the best we had ever had! It was drawn by an amazing artist, who also happens to be a good friend. Secondly, to date this had been the largest issue we had ever put out! Here is a brief synopsis of The Triumvirate #7:
- The Nature of the Wiccan Priesthood: This essay discusses the various stages of Priesthood with in the Wiccan faith, starting with dedication and working up to the third degree.
- Poetry: We have some great poetry in this issue, Insomnia at 3 a.m., and Song of Serenity.
- Intelligent Feedback: This essay discusses the recent attacks made on Paganism by Congressman Bob Barr, journalist Jon E. Dougherty and Presidental candidate George W. Bush, and how we as Pagans should handle it.
- Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold: This is a work of fiction about jealousy, desire, and revenge.
- Books and Media: This is a review column that runs in each issue. In this issue, I review two books and a documentary.
- Plus, there is information about joining the Miami Valley Pagan Alliance, a beautifully written essay titled What is Wicca or Witchcraft?, and some really funny Pagan jokes!
