For those who noticed, the War Report has been changing and growing, albeit slowly. You are witnessing a work in progress. I am slowly incorporating more and more little doodads and crap to make this more informative and pleasant to read. Some of you all who've been visiting The War Report may have noticed that I have slightly altered the site at the index page. This is because I want my hit counter to actually work but folks apparently didn't like the warning page and wanted to go straight to the nitty-gritty. I have no problem with this and have accommodated you all in that regard and took the animated gif and the news ticker java applet out of the site entirely. They just took too long to load despite their coolness. Let me say that I appreciate the fact that you all like my page well enough to return again and again. I am truly gratified that folks come here to get my message and to accept my small efforts. You Study Group boys need to email me often and sign that guestbook while you're in here, though.

I have to say something about what I have defined as a kind of laziness and dependence a lot of people in the united States exhibit daily. I am personally sick that every time something happens people start hollering that the government must Do Something. A child shows his ass in the mall and his momma wears it out. Some ignorant wretch gets outraged and calls the police on the woman for taking charge of HER child!

What I'm talking about is how the government runs roughshod on people's constitutional rights and tells parents how to raise their children. It doesn't end there. I here people tell me all the time that I should watch my step because the government will come get me for voicing my personal opinions. FUCK THE GOVERNMENT! The fact is that people have been systematically programmed by the federal government to fear obey the "fed" and to not think for themselves. No, I don't have any research to prove my belief, but I don't need any. Any person capable of assimilating data and drawing a logical conclusion based on that data shall see for himself that I have a valid point worth considering.

I'll break it down and show you what I'm talking about. On or about 1975, Department of Education was incepted. It became the mechanism the federal government used to take control of the public education systems of the various States in the Union. I am a product of public education and remember well many of the bullshit encounters I had with the system. Corporal punishment, racism, ignorant teachers, teachers more interested inculcating their own brand of bleeding-heart politics than teaching the course material, I've seen plenty. Fortunately, God blessed me with an powerful intellect and by allowing my education to take place in a school attended by my city's well-to-do children. I was given the exact same education that many of my city's doctors and lawyers received. The difference between me and them is that I chose to serve my country by serving it in the military service instead of having my mind warped further by an INSTITUTION of higher "learning." I have travelled the world, seen a lot of crap in my day and I'm not at all impressed by the college-trained wet-behind-the-ears individuals I have met both military and civilian. Anyway, I digress...

I can't say for sure what effect the fed's involvement had on public education, but I do know that by the time I graduated high school, the general population was stupider and much more ignorant than our predesessors. Today our kids are being tought by idiots that think that children's self-esteem will be undermined by failing in math classes so they give them calculators to take the tests with. In certain schools the children are subjected to medical programs where the entire school population is on ritalin and other mind-altering crap. The system won't let parents discipline their kids but expect them to be well-behaved and quiet. Since undisciplined children aren't well-behaved, the teachers try to have the kids medicated. I smell the stench of mind-crontrol in that. The messed up part of that is that most of those idiot so-called educators are ignorant of the overall damage they do to the fabric of our society. Namely, that the public schools seem to have programmed the younger generation's capacity to think for themselves and the sensory bombardment by the media with mindless garbage. What we end up with is a public that believes everything they are told and end up voting for the charlatain who can keep their attention the longest instead of the best person for the elected position. That's right, I'm talking about Clinton. I'm not saying that Clinton had anything to do with the shitty state of public education in America, but he DID benefit from the MTV generation's ignorance and gullability. For Pete's sake, the news was calling him a "sex symbol!" He wasn't, really, but most everyone bought into it so I guess he turned out to be one.

This is the weird part, though. The best way to ensure that your children get the best possible education and learn your values is to teach them at home. Home schooling is a growing movement in this country, in fact. The Attorney General, Janet "Waffen SS" Reno has proclaimed that those people who have fundamental traditional religious values, practice or believe in home schooling, and believe that the government exists to serve the people not the other way around are cultist fanatics. Hell! That means anyone with the mind set to come to a site like mine is some kind of freaking cultist nutcake fanatic. Come to think of it, isn't that what the government-controlled media says about us, too? And thinking about that, doesn't the federal government pretty much control every aspect of our lives from the nature of the food we eat, the medicines we take for our well being, the money we make (or get to keep), who lives or dies, and how we raise our kids? Any organization with that much power and is unaccountable (because people are afraid to complain or protest lest the FBI or IRS or other such agency comes to "get" them) must be destroyed before they start to neglect to teach our kids that this used to be a free country when we were kids.
