The SAC would like to wish everyone the very best for their exams. February has been a very busy month, and the enthusiasm displayed by the students of Macdonald was appreciated by all the councils. This month can be very draining on everyone, financially and mentally. The end of February and the beginning of March will be dedicated to the torment of exams. Once again, the SAC would like to wish everyone lots of luck on their exams.

It was the warmest day and the world recently and I slipped on the ice. My associate slipped on some charcoal and fell into a privet bush, but remained injured.
Froggie had a horse in his throat and coughed quite loudly. The commentator on the euchre game got angry and gave froggie lots of eggs.
The magical hat of Gothro was incredibly stupid, even though it had a super-intelligent shade of blue nearby. It burst spontaneously into song when the pants came from the dog.
Although some bugs were annoyed with a similar article, we have decided to kill the ruler of the world. In fact it is a metric ruler an associate uses in math.
The dummkofs are coming!!!! We must flee the city!!! Ten years later and the plutonium pigs are still there. Quite unlike the chicken fish we discovered recently.
Food is tasty.

Depressed because you didn't get a Valentine last Friday? Never fear! Your pals at MacNews still love you! Cut out this funky Valentine, stick it in your locker, and be happy!

Webmaster's note: You can print it out, then cut it out!
Star Wars, North America's highest grossing movie of all time, is playing again. I saw it last week, and was really amazed. Since I am only 16 years old, I missed the original by 3 years. The special edition is great, even though I'm not a sci-fi fan.
For those who recently crawled out of a hole and don't know what it's about, I'll tell you. It's about a brother and sister (who don't know that they are siblings) who like each other in the not-so-legal way. They join a third person and a Wookiee (The original artical said "a Chewbacca," which is wrong!) (which is a cross-breed of a wooly mammoth and a Bigfoot) to fight an evil guy in all black. With the spiritual advice of an old guy in a monk's outfit. It's pretty much like that except kick-ass special effects and...OK, it's just the effects.

ATTENTION MAC BLACKSCOTS: The Varsity Girls Ice Hockey team won the Scarborough Championship yesterday against Mowat, with a score of 3-1. Many fans showed up to cheer the team on.
Congratulations on a great season. It looks like all your hard work and determination finally paid off. Way to go girls!

Originally the dance was supposed to be on February 6th. Now, to most, this would have been fine. Unfortunately, if you were in grade nine you would have had an exam the next day. But thanks to Simos and Lam, it was changed to the 13th. About 300 people showed up and besides the fact that one of the D.J.s was hit by something, as he said "very hard" (wimp), the dance was great! But enough about what I think! Whay about you?

Last week, the Junior Math Team made a square victory over L'Amoreaux. The score was 81-64 for Mac (perfect squares). Congratulations to Celina Chuang, who played her third game in which she misread at least one question. (Do this any more and we'll square root you, or convert you to binary!!)
This Wednesday, the Math Team won against Campbell, by a score of 91-77. After pounding our brains out (if we had them in the first place) during the Pascal and Cayley math contests, the team recovered (due to Celina's "good luck" chocolates) and cube rooted the Campbell math team for their fourth consecutive victory!
Look for "Go Math Team! (Part 5)" next week when the Junior Math Team cleans up with Pearson.

You criticize and chastice me, but
it's OK.
You do that for free
Your talks are supposed to be
therapeutic and mind-
clearing, they're not.
When I see you in the hall, I
shudder with fear.
When someone mentions your
name, I freeze with terror.
You're supposed to help, but you
don't.
So tell me, what are you supposed
to do again?GreenEggsAndHam

Dust of Gold
Inspired by the cold weather, I saw several people wearing fur cats. Now I know most people wouldn't buy or wear a fur coat, but really, does it make a difference? I mean I know a lot more people that eat beef and pork and chicken than wear fur coats. How come no one's griping about them? Just a thought.
