Look at you people!

I myself am getting mighty tired of this whole Columbine H.X. shooting. Oooh, people died. Now get over it! Geez! All I see on TV now is shooting, shooting, shooting.

Also, how can they draw parallels between Taber and Columbine? In Taber only ONE person was killed, not 15. Some guy had beef with another guy so he killed him. Period. No bombs, no hostages, nothing like that. The only similarities were the trenchcoats and the time proximity between them.

One thing about Columbine was that the President came on talking about how violence should be stopped, yet he's bombing the hell out of a country thousands of miles away. What a hypocrite!

They gave one of the dead girls a soldier's funeral and buried her in Arlington cemetary. She was killed by some kid in a school, she didn't get killed defending her country in war!

People are blaming this on the band KMFDM, black Trenchcoats, Gothic culture, the internet, Prozac (the anti-depressant, not the pop group), and many other things. I know, I know, K thing a big part of it was THE GUNS. How could two teenage boys get a hold of so many weapons? The US media doesn't touch this issue because they are owned by mega-conglomerates who receive money from the NRA. We at MacNews get no money from anybody, so WE BLAME GUNS!!!

Anywho, not that I condone violence of any kind, but those kids were provoked by people who tormented them their entire High School Careers.

Kids should not be so mean to each other because we all have fragile self-esteems and someone might crack. Don't think this can't happen at MAC because it can, very easily. Our school is so full of cliques that anyone who doesn't fit in falls through the cracks.

So don't be so quick to judge these kids. Don't blame their clothes, their music, their families. Look at yourselves. Look at the people you make fun of in your English class and really thing, who's at fault?

SAC...The True Story?

Time and again, I find myself questioning the true intentions and purposes of our so-called "SAC". Honestly, what do they do? Their cover is that they take care of the students' interests, present student opinion to the faculty, and organise special events, such as dances and fund raisers. This, oh faithful readers, is absolutely NOT TRUE. It is obvious to this reporter that, first of all, the SAC elections are rigged. How one gets chosen by the veteran SAC members to maintain the conspiracy is unknown to any outsider. Number two: the SAC is an organisation, cult if you will, whose sole purpose is to appear productive, but actually accomplish nothing. This gives Mac students, and potential Mac parents, a false sense of pride and success, attracting more new students thus forcing the school board to increase Macdonald's budget.

Whe asked about these accusations, grade 11 rep. Ronny Lam issued this statement:

"I deny all allegations of any wrong doing, and I did not have sexual relations with that woman!" When asked which woman he was talking about, he declined to comment.

The only other alternative to this theory is that the SAC does not even exist. But that can be disproved due to the painted SAC door for the SAC office. No one would go to so much trouble for an imaginary office.

The bottom line is that the SAC is not what it appears to be. Watch your back.
