Should we refer to God as "He" or as "She"?

God is beyond gender -- First we must realize that God is not bound by gender. God is not a male, nor is God a female. To be male or female implies sexuality. To be sexual, one must have a body. God, however, does not have a body. To say that God is male or female is to make a God in our own image rather than recognizing that it is we who have been made in God's image.

The Bible refers to God as "He" -- Although God does not have a body, and thus cannot be male or female, the Bible nevertheless refers to God as "He." Regardless of why the Bible refers to God as "He," the fact remains that the Bible does refer to God as "He" and not "She." So if we insist on refering to God as "She," then we are rejecting the revelation God has given to us.
