ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH IN MARLDON, DEVON

Some grave stones were unreadable either from their age or the type of stone used and trying to list some of them I may not have been accurate due to erroded letters.
This churchyard is split into an upper and lower area and is kept in fairly good condition. On the day of my visit in February 1998 there were school children on a field trip learning about the church. The church is located in the old part of Marldon village off the country lanes next to an Inn and near the village meeting hall. You can hear the bells from the church as you walk or live around the village being echoed over the hills.
