I'm sorry to spam you all twice in the same day, but I was just visited by one of my best friends and she filled me in on something that struck VERY CLOSE TO HOME that is simply nothing short of miraculous.

One of my best friends has a twin sister that lives near Chatanooga. She was driving to work in the rain down a steep hill. She was, of course, in the outside lane with no guard-rail and about a 150 ft. drop on the left hand side of the road when a car came around the corner, going the opposite direction, in HER lane! She slammed on her breaks and hydroplaned off of the cliff on her right, at which time she closed her eyes, thought of her twin sister and waited for death. She awoke, her car suspended by a rock 10 feet ABOVE the left hand side of the road she had just hydroplanned off the right side of, unharmed. The cop asked her, shaking his head, "So what? The hand of God just reached out of the sky and grabbed you?!" The second miracle was that, though the crew that had to remove the car from the rock SAW themselves practically TOTAL the car (they claimed things were falling off!), they called her house to report that, completely astounded, other than one wire that they had to reconnect, and a few small scratches, the car is in perfect condition. One of the police-men involved in the entire event began that day as an Atheist, but prayed to recieved Christ as savior, astounded by all that had taken place, later than day led by the young lady in the accident. It also made prime time news. Interestingly enough, if the car had been totalled, she wouldn't have been able to afford her summer missions trip. It just seems as though this was one of those ways God says, "I'm here, I'm actively involved in the world, and I love you." I hope you all are as challenged and encouraged by this as I am.
