Singing and Poetry What is the connection between Singing and Poetry?
The ancient Greeks typically sang deliveries of their poems, I am led to believe. I also like to sing deliveries of my poems, occassionally.

Other kinds of music that I find either enjoyable to sing, or cathartic to sing, include niggunim, tunes in the Chasidic tradition, and melodies from the south of Spain, which tend to have a heavy Arabic influence.

I would eventually like to cut a CD, as I am told that I have a very nice voice, and that it may even help others if I share that voice and song, feeling, poetry...
