Clark's CornerJesus's Ways vs. Christianity's WaysThe Apostle Paul told those he loved, "I speak plainly" to you. He had to tell them that, because there were men who would not tell what was true. Why? Because they did not really love them. And so, we labor to do the same. Most preachers and pastors today will not speak "plainly" to the Church. If they did, they would lose their "position", and their respect among men, a respect that actually cuts them off from hearing the truth the Spirit brings: "...for that which is highly esteemed among men, is abomination in the sight of God" (Luke 16:15). The sincere follower of Jesus Christ will finally come to the place in their walk with God when they must ask the question, "which Christian faith is the right one?" Since there are so many "brands" and "denominations", and since those who love Jesus want to please their heavenly Father, this should be no small decision. What the devoted lover of Jesus will hear, if he will listen to the Spirit that his Father gave him, is the answer, "none of them." Christianity, in all its forms, is the great whore spoken of in the book of Revelation. The Catholic church is the "mother of harlots", for it was the first church to take in members which had not received the real Spirit of God. She took in anyone who would "pay her price"; the price of a "harlot". The harlot's "daughters" are every other denomination or version of "Christianity" whether protestant, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Pentecostal, etc. - for they too attempt to honor Jesus, while taking in as "family" those who have not been baptized into the church by Jesus Christ himself. In other words, any religion that tells it's members they can be born again prior to, or in some other way than, receiving the baptism of the holy Ghost (with the evidence of speaking in other tongues), is a "daughter" of this mother of harlots. That is why, if you have received the baptism of the holy Ghost (or if you are seeking this experience with your whole heart), you are hearing a voice, the voice of the Spirit, saying "come out of her my people". God wants you to forever abandon "Christianity" in whatever form it manifests itself. You must forsake wherever Jesus Christ is worshipped, but NOT in Spirit and in truth. One need only to consider the way of Jesus, versus the ways of Christianity to see the difference. Jesus's ways are pure, and come from the Spirit of God. They bring life and peace to all who enjoy them. The carnal, and vain ways of Christianity are evident; and their result is always death. A deadening of the life of the Spirit you received when the holy Ghost entered your body. If you received the holy Ghost, and joined a denomination within Christianity, your life has been a struggle to "stay alive", because you will die if you stay there. Let us now consider these irreconcilable differences between Jesus's ways, and the vain, carnal ways of Christianity:
Members of Jesus's church: Consists of people baptized with the
holy Ghost: "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body..." (1Cor.12:13)
(read also Rom.8:9; Eph.2:22; 1Pet.2:5; 1Jn.3:24)
Jesus's place of worship: in spirit and in truth (Jn.4:23-24), in the
hearts of sanctified men: "...that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable,
being sanctified by the holy Ghost" (Rom.15:16).
Jesus's baptism: With the holy Ghost and fire (Mat.3:11, Luke
3:16).
Jesus's method of becoming a church member: Jesus himself
putting one into his body through the baptism of the holy Ghost (Rom 6:3; Gal. 3:27;
1Cor.12:13).
Jesus's Sabbath: Life in the Spirit, which is true "rest": "For
with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said,
This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the
refreshing..." See also (1Cor.14:20-22; Mat.11:28).
Jesus's communion: Fellowship with God and with the saints, in
the Spirit (1Cor.10:15-17).
Jesus's "Word of God": Whatever God says (Mat.4:4).
Jesus's garments for worship: Righteousness (Rev.7-8); Praise
(Isa.61.3); and Humility (1Pet.5:5).
Jesus's family: All who do the Father's will (Mt.12:48-50).
Jesus's cross: Denying self, and doing the will of God (Mat.10:38;
16:24; Gal.6:12-14; Phip.3:18-19). We have no part with "Christianity". But our heart's desire is to please the one we love, Jesus Christ. The ways of "Jesus Christ" and the ways of "Christianity" are completely opposite. If you are living in the walls of "Christianity", you are part of "Babylon", a place of doctrines of devils, dead ceremonies, and worship inspired by those who are not led by the Spirit of God. Our heart's desire and hope, is that you too, will follow the call of God to "come out", and at long last, be lead of the Spirit into all truth, to the eternal glory of the Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord.
