Doris opens her mouth to speak but looks at you and closes it again.  "What's that look for?"

        "Okay, so what are you selling?  Prime real estate in some swamp or maybe a pyramid scheme?  All I have to do is give you my money then sit back and watch the dough roll in?  Well, if that's your idea of luck, well let me just tell you something, I wasn't born yester--"

        You stop speaking.  Doris is giving you such an odd look that you start feeling your face to see if maybe something rather disgusting is clinging somewhere.  Then it hits you.

        "Oh, um, sorry 'bout that.  Guess my imagination got away from me there."  You kick at the floor and mumble another apology.

        "Well," Doris says, " you just stumbled across the edges of yet another step in spell-casting."

        You perk up.  "You know, that was my intention all along.  So what's the --"  You count on your fingers.  "-- fourth step in casting a spell?"
