"Umm..." says Doris.

        "Oh no, you mean there's more?"

        "Yes.  Spells can add umph to making your desires real, but in no way are they meant to replace the mundane.  If you want a better job, a spell can help bring opportunities your way, but you must still recognize and act on them, which includes all the mundane tasks of reading the want-ads, submitting resumes, and putting your best foot forward during interviews."

        "Oh man... " you say.  "Hey, maybe there still is an easy way.  You never did tell me the secrets of getting more luck."

        "Oh right," Doris says.  "Here it is:  Lady Luck seems to bless those who work hard and persevere."

        "What!"

        "That's right.  Those folks whom others consider lucky often made their own luck."

        You sigh.  "This whole thing isn't at all what I thought it would be.  I was looking for a quick easy way and there isn't one!"

        Doris smiles.  "No, but spells often help us find a way to something when no path was visible before."

        You consider this for a moment.  "Yeah, I see how spells can still be really useful.  So where can I learn more about spell-crafting?"
