The Words In This Book

I read the words,
And I almost understand.
We go through the same things,
But I feel no connection.

The experiences are the same,
And the emotions are the same.
But I feel so distant,
So completely different.

I can't understand you,
Even though I run the same actions.
Please, just let me close this book,
And think for awhile.
